Location: Atlanta, GA, USA
Client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for several Test / Relay Engineers or Technicians with 3-20 years of hands on experience with protective relays or substations. You will need experience working for a high voltage electrical testing company, relay manufacturer, or electric utility. Work currently available in the Southeast region of the US ( Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, etc..) but may also be available in other regions. Position does not require relocation, but must be willing to travel extensively. Pay will depend on level of experience.

Responsibilities:

-> Your primary responsibility will be to install, maintain, test, & repair protective relays on high voltage substations
-> Travel in the Southeast region servicing customers, but will also need to support other regions depending on the work load

Requirements:

-> 3-25 years of hands on experience installing, maintaining, testing & repairing protective relays on high voltage substations
-> You must be able to calibrate and perform functional tests on either electromechanical and/or micro-processor based protective relays for high voltage substations
-> Client also prefers experience installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, and similar equipment
-> Capable of trouble shooting distribution and transmission controls circuits
-> Willingness to travel regionally and possibly nationally on specific projects

• How many years do you have as a Test - Relay Engineer or Technician?

• Do you have experience calibrating and performing tests on electromechanical or microprocessor protective relays? Please specify which.

• Are you open to extensive travel regionally or possibly nationally?
