Mining Engineer - Mining/Productivity/CMMS

Location: Overland Park, ON, Canada
MINING PRODUCTION SUPERINTENDENT needed to manage and budget for mining operations.

Responsibilities:

-> Responsible for providing leadership for the mining department, promoting safety and productivity, short and long term planning of underground mining with respect to production demand, ground control, underground ventilation, crusher and conveyor belt placement, mining equipment need and general mine lay-out as well as planning for mining labour requirements.

Requirements:

-> BS Engineering, either Mining or Mechanical, 10 years of mining experience and 3 to 5 years senior supervisory experience.
-> Requires skills to coordinate production needs and planned maintenance activities with the maintenance department, develop specifications for new mining equipment and assist in the sourcing and purchase of equipment
-> Must be proficient in Microsoft applications and knowledgeable in the use of CMMS systems
