PURPOSE
Provide construction management skills to our onshore shale assets in the Eagle Ford and/or Permian basins. These developments have some existing facilities and multiple new liquids gathering and processing facilities. The successful Construction Coordinator will work in support of a project manager and project team managing the construction during the execute phase.
In the context of extremely fast track projects, the Construction Coordinator will be the contact for vendors and contractors working at the facility sites. The Construction Coordinator will ensure the cost of construction meets agreed budget, the work is completed within schedule milestones and quality meets the company standards.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Support HSEC initiatives and ensure compliance within their teams with the HSEC procedures and practices
• Manage and deliver specific scopes of work with respect to multiple DCP facilities
• Coordinate package delivery with engineering and manage any shop inspection of packages. Assure the packages are delivered to fabrication site within cost, schedule, and quality targets.
• Participate in all aspects of tendering contracts including: planning, specification, prequalify, tender, evaluation and award
• Accountable as Company site representative for the construction integrity of the facilities such that the contractors achieve the requirements of the Company documents relating to design intent and performance criteria.
• Responsible for proactively managing any engineering and construction change orders to minimize project schedule and budget overruns by contractors
• Acts as Company Representative on site in relation to the coordination of emergency response activities for construction.
• Supervises Company discipline engineers when assigned in a site construction role.
• Participate in HAZOPs, HAZIDs and safety audits as required.
• Accountable for the provision of accurate and timely reporting on all activities within the above scope.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors degree in an Engineering is desired but not mandatory
• 10+ years of applicable experience
• Good knowledge of facilities
• Good knowledge and experience with management of key construction trades
