Baffinland Iron Mines Corporation (TSX: BIM) is a Canadian publicly-traded junior mining company that is focused on its 100%-owned Mary River iron ore deposits located about 160 kilometres south of Pond Inlet, Baffin Island, Nunavut Territory, Canada. With the completion of the Definitive Feasibility Study and initiation of project permitting in February 2008, the project is moving rapidly forward. In 2008, the 250,000 tonne bulk sample will be completed and an expanded exploration and geotechnical drilling program is planned with a peak workforce of over 300 people on site.
The following position is newly created within the Operations Division which will play a major role in ensuring the Company moves the project forward.
Additional assets include open pit mining experience and work on Northern/Arctic project.
