Emergency Response Safety Engineer needed for a full time opportunity in Houston, TX. The ideal match for this position will have a degree in safety and/or fire protection engineering. Qualifications include a minimum of five years of safety relevant on and offshore oil and gas industry experience, and three years of GoM related experience in a support role. Additional qualifications include a working knowledge of HAZID/HAZOP processes, and incident investigation and reporting. Responsibilities include ensuring the implementation of policies and procedures, advising on all aspects of emergency response operations, and supporting the planning and execution of external and internal audits. Additional responsibilities include the addition, development, and maintenance of emergency response documentation systems, plans, and procedures.
