Primary Job Function: The candidate will be responsible for Project Management, Design, and Contract Management of Capital projects.
Primary Duties Include:
Development of cost estimates, economic analyses for projects, appropriation requests, and manages the installation of those projects.
Development of Request for Quotation proposals and Engineer Procure Construct Contracts.
Design and engineering principles for Mechanical, Structural, Process, and Environmental Engineering.
Effectively manage field supervision of project installation.
Effectively work with people from all plant areas (safety, environmental, operations, and maintenance) to obtain input on project scope and design needs to support the operation of the facility.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
Professional Engineering License (preferred)
5 years minimum experience in a chemical plant or related industry. 2-5 years demonstrated experience in managing projects. Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to effectively work with people. Strong desire to learn with high level of initiative
