Immediate Need With Great Benefits: Well respected Mid-western energy company has immediate need for a Supervisor Environmental Compliance and Operational Chemistry with plant maintenance and operation experience with equipment used in the monitoring and reporting of air emissions, water quality and spill prevention. Requires a minimum of a B.S. Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with five (5) years power generation chemistry experience OR Bachelor of Science Degree in a science field and a minimum eight (8) years power generation chemistry experience. Experience with management of Power Plant (s) environmental and operational chemistry functions. Experience with implementing environmental standards as set forth by Environmental Health and Safety organizations, as well as taking the appropriate actions to ensure compliance with site specific permits. Experience directing site activities to ensure that operations are consistent with the rules and guidelines for operational plant chemistry activities and needs. Experience in directing and evaluating scientific principles, technologies and/or performs scientific research related to specific environmental and/or operational chemistry requirements. Experience with compliance to Environmental regulations and implementing corporate environmental policy/standards. Experience in responding to any site specific environmental request for Information resulting from an agency inspection and is the first line negotiator during the inspections. Experience in Managing Human Performance (MHP) per established guidelines, develop and manage departmental budget, delegate and assign position responsibilities within work group.
