Under the supervision of the Environmental Coordinator, the entitle person will be responsible to carry out a variety of duties including field inspections, environmental monitoring (soil, water and wildlife monitoring), field research studies and will assist in the preparation of environmental reports.The candidate will be responsible to ensure that environmental quality is maintain on-site and will participate in various projects and assignments related to on-site environment management. The candidate we are looking for own a college degree mining technology and has formal education and a minimum of one (1) year experience in a related field (ie, Environmental Technician, Environmental Science and Environmental Engineering).
Meadowbank Division is located in the Nunavut territory at approximately 70 kilometers north of Baker Lake Community. The site’s construction is in progress and the commercial exploitation should start in the beginning of 2010. Once the production’s started, this division will employ about 400 persons.

WORKING CONDITIONS
