Solid manufacturing company in the Baltimore, MD area is in need of a Environmental Engineer for an immediate direct hire position. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors degree in Environmental engineering/studies or an equivalent field required. Prefer MS. Will also have will have three or more years experience as an Environmental Engineer or related field within a manufacturing environment, State and Federal regulatory experience (including but not limited to: (Maryland Title V, RCRA, TSCA,, NPDES, SPCC, familiarity with iron and steel manufacturing processes. Good working knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, MS Access, and MS Excel) is required. You will be on a weekend on-call list for plant emergencies and respond accordingly. Responsibilities include; Planning, coordination, execution and formulating improvement plans within the plant to address the procurement of permits, records retention, and monitoring data.
