Environmental Health and Safety Manager II
A leading food and beverage company has an immediate opening for an experienced Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) Manager in their North Carolina location. A minimum of 4 to 6 years experience in EH&S leading to EH&S management is required as well as a BS Degree in safety engineering, occupational safety and health or a related field. Strong knowledge of safety regulations is a must, such as OSHA, Hazard communications, accident investigation, and safety training methods. Also required is a strong knowledge of environmental regulations (such as EPCRA, CAA,CWA, and SARAAIII). Professional Certifications (Certified Safety Professional CSP, CPEA, CPEA, etc) are preferred. This role will implement the companies environmental strategy and programs for a designated region, in partnership with their Corporate Safety, Environmental and Insurance groups. This includes auditing communication and education of plant leaders and other employees. Relationships with regulatory agencies will also be a responsibility.
