Production Supervisor needed for full-time opportunity in Houston, TX. The ideal match for this position will have 15 years of related floating production operations experience, prior experience with remotely operated subsea production systems and a two year technical degree or equivalent experience. Responsibilities include supervision of deepwater facility activities to assure safe practices and pollution free operation within compliance of all company, federal, state and local government requirements, reviewing production, operation and maintenance reports and schedules to ensure that timely and effective actions are taken to solve problems, maintaining full compliance with corporate policy and governing agencies, interfacing with government agencies visiting or inspecting the platform, liaise with project managers and engineers to optimize oil and gas production utilizing available well and process data and to resolve technical issues and changes in project deliverables, approving permitted work plans, supply and procurement forecasts, monitoring and managing facility operations to minimize risk and maximize production, managing downtime and maintenance cost, overseeing activates of contractors and third-party vendors performing services associated with crude oil and natural gas production and maintenance of equipment, maintaining production records and reports, acting as on site oil spill source control coordinator, coordinating production activities with workover, drilling and construction work, providing information and review for projects regarding production facilities, attending planning and Hazard review meetings, and responsible for participating in all safety training and assisting in safety procedures such as basic First Aid, CPR, fire drills and marine emergency evacuations. Qualifications include, prior experience with remotely operated subsea Production systems, USCG certification, barge supervision. The employee must have lifeboatman experience and must be able body seaman. Additional experience in stability and ballast control for MODU and tension leg platforms, comprehensive training on water survival and fire fighting, certified, T-2, first aid, CPR, HAZWOPER, confined space entry, crane operations, proficiency in computers, and multi-media communication skills. The candidate should have five years supervisory experience and possess good organizational skills.
