A large public power enterprise has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Scientist to work in the Westchester, NY area. Candidates must possess a Bachelors degree in environmental science, biology, chemistry, or other applicable disciplines with 5 plus years of work experience in wild life management, vegetation management or similar activities. An advanced degree of similar pedigree is preferred. Knowledge of State and Federal natural resources laws, regulations and standards is necessary. Familiarity with standard technical contracting methodologies is a must. Excellent planning, problem solving, collaboration, decision-making, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential. Proficiency with the use of personal computers in a LAN environment and PC based software packages including MS Word, Excel, and Power Point is also required. The willingness to travel is an important attribute.

• What is your proficiency with personal computers, the Microsoft office Suite and LAN-PC based environmental software?

• What is your tolerance for travel?

• Do you have a Professional Engineer License in the State Of New York?
