Excellent opportunity with a world leading global organization located approximately 1 hour North of Albany, NY for a Contracts Manager to be in charge of all prime contracts for construction and environmental remediation projects. To be considered you should have 10-15 years of prime contract administration experience on construction or environmental remediation projects with at least 5 years experience in a supervisory capacity. At least 5 years prime contract administration experience on Construction Management for fee (aka Agency Construction Management) projects is preferred. A B.A. or B.S. degree in business administration, finance, or related field is required. A knowledge of industry business practices, the negotiation of prime contracts, and experience working with senior management personnel and large industrial clients is desired. An exceptional ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing is required. A working knowledge of PC software packages associated with contract administration, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is also required. Salary will be commensurate with experience so all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Client offers a solid benefits package and relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.
