A client located in Eastern Illinois is actively searching for a Project Engineer for an Environmental/Investments position. This position has the responsibilities of leading the investment process and achieve approval by coordinating and driving all activities required to obtain the necessary data at two forging facilities. In addition, the Project Engineer will also coordinate and lead activities that identify and maintain the requirements to obtain and/or maintain ISO certification and will coordinate the activities that identify facilities and process cost saving improvements at both locations. Finally, this position is to support production and safety in order to reduce operating costs and improve the bottom line revenues of the company. Some travel is required for this position. All candidates applying for the position must have a BS degree in Industrial Technology, Engineering, or related field. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment and will have some project management experience. Candidates must be computer and Microsoft Office savvy.
