Highly-acclaimed, Rocky Mountain Environmental Consulting Firm is actively seeking a Field Geologist to join its growing team in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Qualified candidates will offer a BS Degree in Environmental Science or Geology and have 3-5 years of environmental consulting experience (any oil and gas industry experience is considered a huge plus). This position involves task/project management and implementation, including: the coordination and preparation of assessment proposals and plans, implementation of site assessment fieldwork (boring/well installation and soil/groundwater sampling, data management and report preparation).
This position requires the following:
- Organized, independent worker with effective written and verbal communication skills - good computer skills required.
- BS Degree in Environmental Sciences, Geology or related field (preferred but not required).
- 3-5 years of environmental consulting experience
- Any oil and gas and/or UST experience is considered a plus.
This position can interview and start immediately. Local candidates preferred. Candidates must be able to pass drug screen. This client is a registered Disadvantaged Business Enterprise and was established in 1992. The company is headquartered in Denver, Colorado and has satellite offices in Fort Collins and Durango, Colorado; Cheyenne, Wyoming; Gainesville, Florida; and Chicago, Illinois and has recently opened an office in Rifle, Colorado. This client currently employs more than 50 professionals with an average of 12 years of experience.
