Our client is a world leader in Metal Processing and Recycling with operations across Australia, Europe, Asia and the USA. With a commitment to continuous improvement and achievement, they are now seeking an Environmental Advisor to join their team at their Lead & Zinc smelter in Port Pirie, South Australia only a 2.5 hour drive from Adelaide.
As an integral member of the Environmental Team you will be required to:
? Analyse and report on air quality data
? Prepare technical reports and make recommendations
? Provide support to the tenby10 Project
? Contribute to individual and team projects
? Liaise daily with internal stakeholders
? Assist the company to achieve safety, environmental, quality and production targets
In this varied position you will play a key role in contributing to the development and implementation of strategies to improve the environmental performance on site. You will be joining a friendly and dynamic team committed to workplace achievement and results.
This position will suit self motivated individuals with a passion for team work and getting the job done. You will possess first class problem solving skills and be experienced in report writing and presentations. Ideally you will be tertiary qualified with 1- 2 years industry experience. A current driver’s licence is desirable.
