Each day you will be an important team leader as you participate in the design, coordination, execution and supervision of the technical aspects of clients projects.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a self motivated, detailed oriented degreed Engineer
• Have 10 to 15 years of total experience in the metals industry with specific knowledge/experience as follows:
• 
  
  • steel making, processing and finishing  
  
  
  • plant operations  
  
  
  • equipment and process lines  
  
  
  • engineering (plant, facility, consulting, construction)  
• Have project delivery experience and technical skills to execute multiple projects
• Be an effective listener and planner
• Be a registered professional engineer
• Be a certified PMP
• Live in or relocate to Pittsburgh, PA

Our Project Manager:

• Plans, directs, supervises and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned program or project from conceptual design through construction.
• Is customer focused with a personal drive and reputation for meeting commitments.
• Leads development of proposals, presentations and cost estimates.
• Manages multi-discipline project delivery; ensures compliance with overall project objectives.
• Evaluates material and construction bids.
• Complies with applicable regulations and client guidelines for design, project documentation and records.
• Develops the scope of engineering work, schedules, and budgets for the assigned project elements, monitors progress to maintain schedules and budgets; identifies and documents change scope.
• Interacts with architectural and engineering discipline leads to ensure compliance with project objectives.
• Manages technical support during construction.
• Possesses a broad technical background and has the ability to “roll up their sleeves" and self-perform work, along with managing it. Is comfortable in different roles, sometimes supporting, sometimes leading.
• Acts as the Company representative at the client site for project execution.
• Establishes requirements of the project and monitors the draft and final adherence to these criteria including total project cost management.
• Promotes technical excellence on the project, including furtherance of the Quality Improvement Process.

Basic Qualifications

• Degreed Engineer from a U.S. accredited institution
• 10+ years of total experience in the metals industry with specific knowledge/experience as follows:

  • plant operations
  • equipment and process lines
  • engineering (plant, facility, consulting, construction)
• Prior Project delivery experience and executing multiple projects at a given time

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineering Registration
• PMP certified

Degree Required

Bachelors or 4 Year Degree
