Senior Business Development Manager Job - Denver, CO
The challenge? Help to meet the ever increasing demand for electric power. OurSenior Business Development Manager job manages the business development activities for utility clients with a focus on consulting and services work. Each day you will identify and screen opportunities according to Power Business Group and make sales calls and presentations to Utility clients.  You should be a self motivated degreed engineer with at least 15 years business development experience in the Power Generation industry in a consulting or EPC business environment and a desire to grow personally and professionally with each substation power project.

Our Senior Business Development Managers:
* Develop and prepare opportunity specific presentations 
* Work with Engineering/Services and Operations staff on deliverables 
* Manage the qualifications and proposal process 
* Review commercial aspects of bids 
* Successfully close opportunities

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited college or university
* Minimum of 15 years of business development experience in the Power industry 
* Demonstrated organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
* Previous experience working in both a consulting/engineering and an EPC business environment 
* Established relationships with investor owned utilities and independent power producers
* Ability to recognize risk elements of projects, how to mitigate those elements and when to say “No" with opportunity is not worthy of pursuing
* Ability to meet deadlines, sometimes with short notice even when required to work beyond normal business hours
* Proficienct with Microsoft tools including MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
