This market leading company who has the EPC service contract to provide Australia's largest onshore oil and gas producer with comprehensive and integrated engineering, maintenance and construction services, are currently on the search for a Lead Electrical Engineer in their Adelaide CBD operations.

Reporting directly to the Engineering manager, the focus of this role is to develop, plan and co-ordinate complex Electrical Engineering designs entailing technical specifications and detailed planning in order to meet project and client requirements. You will responsible for developing and establishing a recognised high level of technical competence in specific electrical engineering fields. In addition you will not be afraid to lead from the front as mentoring the next generation of engineers is also attributed to this role.

To be eligible for this position you will need to be tertiary qualified with an electrical discipline (instrumentation exposure is also highly regarded). Have a thorough understanding of Australian Petrochemical industry standard and codes. Possess very effective communication skills that can be communicated over many levels from Clients, management, and other engineering disciplines to even the design team. Most importantly a demonstrated background in effective and competent electrical design, detailed calculations, drawings, specifications, sizing and selection of equipment, material selection, and vendor technical assessment.
