This is an outstanding opportunity with a Coal Seam Gas company with cutting edge operations located in Moranbah. This start up organisation has successfully completed its pilot well and now requires the expertise of a Senior Geologist to establish the drilling program.

You will enjoy being based in Brisbane and the freedom to work autonomously. Providing Assessment and recommendations of prospective areas within the companys tenements for development, appraisal or exploration is the core responsability for this prospect.

The key elements of the role include:
* Geology information acquisition and data management.
* Exploration, Appraisal and development planning.
* Selection and procurement of materials and services as may be required.
* Drilling program support

This role requires high calibre candidates with:
* A Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in science (Geology or Geoscience).
* Extensive experience within senior managers position preferably in coal bed methane.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a development team with clear communication skills.
* Knowledge with planning software, mapping, modeling and long term data management.

This permanent role offers an opportunity that doesnt come around often The chance to take ownership of the program and have a major influence over the production and operations.

Due to the nature of this role a highly competitive salary package will be negotiated for this key individual.
