Resource Evaluation Geologist sought by leading ASX-listed mining organisation in QLD. You will be responsible for all geological data management, resource modelling and evaluation of mineral deposits on operating mines and new development projects.

Reporting to the Geological Services Manager, this is a senior level appointment and as such requires a high degree of skill and experinece including:
# A tertiary level geosciences qualification and evidience of ongoing research and development
# A solid track record in minerals exploration, open-cut and underground mine geology and quality assessment/grade control
# Expert use of geological databases and computer modelling software such as GBis and/or Vulcan
# Strong numeracy/literacy and analytical skills
# Strong leadership and teamwork skills
# The ability to understand practical mining and processing implications of geological decisions on resource risk and the ability to communicate this to mine planners
# Excellent project management, contract management, budgeting and cost control skills to ensure timely delivery of resource models, estimates and supporting documentation

This is a staff position on a mine that boasts some of the best facilities and working conditions available in the industry.
