Our client is an Oil & Gas start-up focused solely on the exploration & development of Coal Seam Gas in central Queensland and PNG. As the company works coincide with another international oil company, their goal will be to develop consistent sources of oil wells and methane gases deposits.

Due to the discovery of new and untapped sizable reservoirs our client is seeking for experienced Reservoir Engineers. This position will guarantee a promising career with potential international experiences.

You will be responsible for identifying oil and gas reserves and developing strategies to maximise recovery. Further responsibilities include:
* Design and testing of new wells, including monitoring and predicting their performance
* Conducting reservoir studies including well log interpretation and decline curve analysis
* Pressure and rate transient analysis
* Reservoir simulation to optimise development

The role will require the candidate to relocate to northern Queensland and work on a rotational roster flying n and out of the well sites in PNG. The successful applicant will have a background of:
* Several years of field experience acting on the well site
* A degree in Petroleum or Chemical Engineering
* Experience with traditional and non-traditional reservoir engineering techniques.
* Well test analysis
* Material balance
