Brisbane Based Position / Crude Oil Refinery / Leading Global Fuel & Hydrocarbon Supplier / Projects & Engineering Division

Our client, the owner / operator of one of Australia's largest refineries, they have recently undergone an extensive increase in their clean fuels production capabilities. With eleven main processing units and over 50 tanks ranging in size to up to 80 million litres, the refinery occupies an area of almost 90 hectares, supplying fuels and hydrocarbons to the local market.

Due to continued expansion within their Brisbane Based Refinery, they currently require a Senior Instrument / Electrical Refinery Engineer.

You will be responsible for the delivery of instrumentation, control and electrical engineering solutions and overall project delivery: ensuring issues are developed innovatively, making cost effective use of current technology.

Specific responsibilities will include:
# Designing instrument, control and electrical systems
# Reviewing designs developed by others
# Review piping & instrumentation diagrams
# Reveiwing vendor package design specifications

Complimenting your engineering qualifications, you will have chemical plant or refining instrument / electrical engineering experience in project design, engineering or management. Leading multi-discipline project teams, you will have excellent leadership and communication skills.
