Responsibilities
Seeking an experienced professional to coordinate and implement a business plan to execute projects for our customers throughout Canada. Responsibilities include: implementing an effective health and safety management program and promoting a safe culture; tracking and maintaining project budgets; coordinating project tasks; reviewing progress daily with customers and management; developing/implementing job task risk assessments; coordinating and maintaining tooling and equipment; and providing overall leadership and coordination of projects to meet customer and company requirements.
Qualifications
Requires 2 years’ experience in mining or a related heavy industry field, with an additional 3 years of supervisory experience. Post secondary education is also required in a certified trade area, such as electrical, welding, millwriting or other heavy duty mechanical discipline. A solid understanding of electrical and mechanical theory is a must. Basic computer proficiency, excellent leadership ability and strong interpersonal skills are key. Approximately 30-50% travel required.
