Mine Operations Engineer
AngloGold Ashanti (Colorado) Corp., manager for the Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining Company, has an immediate opening for a Mine Operations Engineer at its mine site located 2 miles east of Cripple Creek, Colorado. The position requires a B.S. degree in Mining, Geological, Civil or Mechanical Engineering. This position is primarily responsible for Mine Operations support. This includes technical support for, and coordination with, General Foremen to implement the Short Range plan and attain short- and long- term budget objectives. Operations Engineering incorporates continuous evaluation of the operating budget objectives, equipment evaluation, justification for capital expenditures, analysis of daily and weekly efficiencies. This position demands excellent analytical, management, organization, communication and problem solving skills. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines, work with minimum supervision, and have a working knowledge of planning software, AutoCAD, Word Processing, and spreadsheet programs. This position reports to the Mine Manager. AngloGold Ashanti (Colorado) Corp. provides an excellent benefit package and a salary commensurate with experience.
