Electrical Foreman

This position will report to the Mill Maintenance Superintendent and the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience as an Electrical Foreman or equivalent related experience. The incumbent will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all site electrical maintenance.
The successful candidate should meet the following criteria:
5 years experience in large open pit mining environments working with 240 plus ton diesel electric trucks, late model P&H 2800 and P&H 2300 electric shovels and mill industrial electrical experience preferred.
Previous experience in managing high voltage distribution systems up to 250 KV.
A strong background and understanding of distributed control systems (DCS), programmable logic controls (PLC) and microprocessors.
Strong computerized maintenance planning skills preferably with Mincom or Maximo planning systems.
Proven ability to meet production and safety goals.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills, as well as good oral and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and planning skills along with the ability to work independently and the ability to work well with all departments.
This position will work a two-week in two-week out rotation. Flights are provided from Smithers, and Prince George.
