MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education: B.S. Degree in a Science/Engineering Discipline.

Nine years experience in industrial or applied research laboratories including 5 years at senior level in area of specialization. Incumbent will normally have achieved industry recognition through participation in professional societies such as ACS, API or ASTM.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Candidate will provide technical assistance in the development of gasoline and diesel fuel technology. Particular emphasis will be placed on fuel requirements for future combustion systems to meet the environmental and legislative challenges of the 21st Century. An appreciation, and preferably a background in the areas of fuels manufacturing, fuel combustion phenomena, and fuel s additive development would be a significant advantage. Candidate is expected to work in a team and provide innovative and creative contribution to ongoing research studies in overlapping research areas such as, fuel and additive development, fuel s specifications and fuels performance. Previous work on additive development should be relevant to the field of petroleum products applications. Preferably octane enhancement, storage stability, emission control, and cold flow properties.
