Teck Cominco Limited, is a diversified mining, smelting and refining group; a world leader in the production of metallurgical coal and zinc; and a major producer of copper and gold. The operation at Trail, British Columbia, is one of the world's largest and most efficient integrated zinc and lead smelters.
A challenging position exists in our Projects department for a Structural Engineer with B.Sc. designation coupled with at least five years of work experience.
As a Structural Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible to:
Develop and manage long-term structural/civil capital improvement plans;
Coordinate periodic site-wide regulatory structural inspections;
Manage site-wide structural, civil, and coating standards; and
