Alexco Resource Corp. is a precious metals exploration company with a silver focus and a growing environmental services business. Alexco's primary exploration and development objective is to unlock value in the silver-rich Keno Hill District located in the Yukon Territory, Canada.
Alexco's 2008 exploration program in the Keno Hill Silver District includes underground development at its Bellekeno project near Keno City, Yukon. The underground project involves resource definition and exploration drilling, and development of the mine for future production. Alexco is targeting production at the Bellekeno project by the end of 2009, pending a positive feasibility study and obtaining the necessary regulatory permits.
Alexco Resource Corp. is actively seeking theposition for its Keno Hill Project, Elsa, Yukon Territory, Canada.
