Description:CCL has been requested by a major international oil company to provide a QS / Contracts Engineer for a contract position based in Abu Dhabi. This is a residential position, duration about 15 months. Working 5 days per week. Excellent rates and conditions of service. Previous Client experience essential for this position.
Qualifications:Candidates should be well-educated with a BSc in Quantity Surveying or Engineering preferred. Good contractual knowledge, excellent communication skills. Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
Experience:Experienced QS / Contracts Manager with a minimum 10 years' experience in the Oil & Gas industry. Will manage the following: Administer primary engineering service and procurement contract with owner engineer and contracts with sub-contractors from Contract award to Final Close out. Administer contractual issues in relation with construction contracts. Administer and close out remaining contractual issues from contracts / PO issued previously in Houston.
