Client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a mid-level Project Manager in Houston, TX. You will need 5-10 years of plant projects experience in the petrochemical/refining industry. You must have some experience in the role of Project Manager. You will need a general knowledge of project management tools and techniques, such as scope definition and changes, project scheduling, critical path, estimating, budgeting, and cost control. A BSME or BSEE is a plus but NOT required. You will oversee small capital and maintenance projects in the range of 75k to 3M. You should have a good understanding of electrical and mechanical equipment and systems commonly found in petrochemical or process plants. Some site travel is required. This is a direct hire position but the client is willing to consider contract for the right candidate.
