Engineering firm based in the metro Houston area has an immediate need for a contract entry-level Draftsman for a 2-month assignment with possible permanent hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of manual drafting principles, practices, methods, and techniques for this position. Technical or Associates degree and AutoCAD 3D, Inventor, or Solidworks experience a plus. All candidates will be considered, but if not local must be willing to relocate at your own expense due to no relocation or per diem offered. When applying please include desired hourly rate.
Questions you will be asked:
• Describe your experience as a drafter. Which companies have you worked for as a drafter?
• Describe your knowledge of AutoCAD, Inventor, and Solidworks
• Describe a project you were involved with as a drafter.
• Where do you currently live and why are you interested in a position located in Houston, Texas? What is your current annual salary (please break down base, bonus, etc.) and what is your desired hourly rate for this position?
