QC Inspector (Civil) Our client is a diverse engineering and construction organisation with an international reputation for innovation and excellence have been awarded a significant Mineral Sands Project based in Victoria, located NE of Melbourne. Our client is seeking a suitably qualified and site experienced QC Inspector (Civil) Responsibilities
*
* The QC Inspector Civil / Mechanical will be responsible for all aspects relating to the Quality Control of site civil works and provide mechanical Quality Control assistance at Project Sites when required. This position will report to the QC Inspector/Coordinator.
* Conduct Quality Control inspections to ensure all works carried out conform to specifications & requirements;
* Review & Approve site Civil & Mechanical Contractor ITPs
* Witness & Verify Civil & Mechanical Inspection & Test Results
* Liaise & regularly report the status of Civil & Mechanical QA/QC operations to the QC Inspector/Coordinator
* Ensure that project Civil & Mechanical Quality Records are collated maintained & up to date.
* Liaise with Client QA/QC Representative and Certifying Authority Representative in the field (as applicable)
* Liaise with the QC Inspector/Coordinator to plan work-face inspection. Qualifications / Experience:
* Civil or Mechanical Engineering or Trade Qualification / Internal Auditor qualification
* Experience in Large Scale Mining Project Civil & Mechanical Works
* QC experience of 5 years as a Civil or Mechanical QA/QC Inspector with Civil Experience.
* Ability to work remotely with minimum management supervision,
* Ability to coordinate and liaise with other members of a Quality
