One of Australia's leading gold miners has an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Resource Evaluation / Modeling Geologist. This publicly listed company is developing a new underground mine to compliment their existing operations. By seizing this opportunity you will enjoy being involved in the design and start-up of an operation that boasts considerable reserves and provides an excellent family lifestyle.

Joining a solid team of geologists your primary responsibility will be the resource estimation and modeling of this exciting new project. Your duties will include but will not be limited to:

Managing and evaluating geological data quality
Managing contractors and consultants as required
Preparing and delivering reports to Senior Management as required
The successful applicant will possess tertiary qualifications in Earth related Sciences coupled with extensive experience in geological modeling and resource evaluation. Proficiency in Surpac is essential as is familiarity with the JORC code.

This position is offered on a residential basis in a town that has excellent educational and sporting facilities. You will also be less than 2 hours from the coast and a large city. Working Monday to Friday will allow you to enjoy beautiful Queensland on the weekend with your family. Alternatively, DIDO arrangements can be facilitated.
