One of Australia's standout civil engineering and construction companies which operates throughout Queensland, New South Wales and into the Northern Territory, are currently looking for a General Manager to join their ranks.

This is a quality assured company, certified to ISO 9001:2000 standards, who spend their time involved in projects such as:

Bidges
Road Works
Subdivision
Foundations and Feedlots
Quarrying and Mining
Water Storage and Conservation
Water Supply and Reticulation
Pumps and Pump Stations
Irrigation Design and Development
Pipelines
Evaporation Sewerage and Effluent Ponds
Levee Banks, Flood Mitigation and Environmental Works
Surveying
The General Manager will have responsibility for the leadership, planning, operations and overall performance of the Group and will report to the Managing Director.

This position requires a mature, authoritative and confident self starter with the leadership, strategic thinking, management, communication and negotiation skills necessary to perform in this challenging role.

Current knowledge of the engineering construction industry, and expertise in a construction contracting environment involving the management and delivery of sound financial results and the acquisition of new business, will be highly regarded.

Formal qualifications in business, finance and/or engineering well regarded but not essential.
