An opportunity that could be career defining has become available for an experienced Underground Production Superintendent. Joining a large, well known and professionally run organisation, is a great chance to further your skills and knowledge within the mining industry.
The purpose of this is to plan and manage activities related to drilling, blasting, loading, hauling and crushing of metals from the ground to the product stockpiles. This position also has accountability for underground development and site rehabilitation. Further responsibilities for this role are:

Implement and monitor safety policies and procedures
Scheduling of production activities to ensure timely delivery of quality product
Monitor the overall performance of work area teams
Foster an environment of an active employee participation in process improvements
To be successful for this role you will require:

Trade qualifications or recognised mining/extractive industry competency standard qualification
Underground mining experience
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office
Good understanding of safety and mine regulations
