Mining Manager

Our client is an expanding London-based mining company focused on identifying, acquiring, developing and operating mineral resource projects worldwide. They are currently seeking the services of an experienced Mining Manager for their open cut gold operation in Guinea.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will involve managing the mine production and technical teams to achieve budgeted production levels.

The site contains everything you would expect from a modern offshore camp, with access to a swimming pool, supermarket, cable TV, internet and a clinic with Expat doctors. This role is offered FIFO from your Point Of Hire on a 9 / 3 week roster. Remuneration and bonus packages will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

* A degree in Mining Engineering or a related mining discipline
* 10 -15 years experience in an open pit mining environment, with at least 5 at management level
* Previous experience in an expatriate role
* Strong leadership and communication skills

This position is offered on an attractive single status FIFO roster to POH. A competitive salary commensurate with skills and experience will be offered to the successful candidate, along with access to the swimming pool, supermarket, cable TV, internet and a clinic with Expat doctors.
