Location: Australia Our client operates one of the largest manganese mines in the world, and is currently seeking a Reliability Superintendent to join their Business Improvement Team to lead site operations maintenance reliability improvement initiatives. Located on one of Australia’s largest islands, employees have access to excellent sporting and recreational facilities.
Reporting to the Business Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for development and implementation of strategies, systems, procedures and methodologies against our client’s maintenance key performance indicators, which directly contribute to improved bottom-line performance.
Other key responsibilities include:
* Development and integration of Operator Driven Reliability encompassing fixed and mobile equipment personnel
* Analysis of condition monitoring systems to identify the key business reliability improvement activities in each area
* Over all site leadership in preventative maintenance practices, including Root Cause Analysis
As a Reliability Superintendent, with proven reliability skills, you will lead a team managing various reliability maintenance improvement services. As well as providing your team with vital knowledge and expertise, with technical advice with the aim of returning measurable value to asset performance and the operations.
To be considered you should possess:
* Leadership in benchmarking of KPI’s across the business
* Effective facilitation and presentation skills
* Track record of success in implementing change
* Effective facilitation and presentation skills
An aligned engineering degree in reliability, or equivalent, with a minimum of 5-7 years experience in similar reliability role is desirable, however if you have a trade background, coupled with significant relevant experience you are also encouraged to apply.
