Project Geologist - Underground

Our client requires a Project Geologist for their underground operations in WA. Reporting to the Senior Project Geologist your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Taking ownership of the geological activities in a specific region of the underground operation.

• Supervising and developing a team of Project, Mine and Underground Geologists.

• Supervising contract drilling activities.

• Helping to improve and maintain Geological systems.

• Updating production crews on planning activities.

• Carrying out geological reconciliations and produce reports as required.

• Contributing to the long term strategy of the Geology department.

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Geology.

• 3 years prior Geological experience

• Good written and oral communication skills

• Exposure to VULCAN Mining Software, preferred but not essential

This position is offered on FIFO from Perth on a roster of 8 days on 6 days off, flying in company time.
