Procurement Manager

This gold exploration company has a very large and prospective land package in the State of Nevada. The company is in the unique position of having a complete “pipe line” of projects from “grass roots” exploration to advanced stage exploration and royalty properties and existing development project.

PURPOSE

The Procurement Manager will report to the General Manger and be a key member of the executive team with primary responsibility of developing procurement and warehousing systems for the mine site and corporate office including exploration.

QUALIFICATIONS

B.S. or B.A. degree is desirable but not required. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 year of experience in the mining industry or a closely related sector. The candidate must be free to travel occasionally. Preference given to candidates with previous mining experience or construction of refinery or leach facilities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for all procurement activities.
• Assist in the development of financial budgets and forecasts.
• Involvement in the negotiation of contracts with corporate suppliers and contractors.
• Involvement in joint venture discussions and contract negotiations on the exploration property area.
• Insure that timely monthly, quarterly and annual reports are provided to site and corporate managements.
