IMMEDIATE NEED! A growing manufacturing company just North of Kansas City, Kansas is actively looking for an experienced Design / Project Engineer. The Engineer MUST HAVE a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Materials Engineering and experience in product design / development. This position incorporates total product development responsibility from concept to market. The major assignments are project management, design control, hands-on evaluation, support of source selection, and product promotion. The candidate will pursue product enhancements through a combination of market research, design work, materials selection, improved processing, vendor qualification, and in-service performance studies. Position will play an active role in establishing product compliance guidelines and benchmarking business practices.
