Field Service Manager - Field Service/Global/Compressors

Our northwest New York state client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Global Field Service Manager who has a minimum of 5 years of progressive planning and scheduling experience and who presently holds a BS or BA in an Engineering discipline or Business, a MBA is preferred. Your knowledge and experience in an Engineering, Manufacturing, R and D, or Field Service role will be a big plus. Reporting to the Manager of Aftermarket Operations, your responsibilities will include: working with internal and external customers to develop and implement strategic plans to maximize service related opportunities; short and long term business planning; develop and attain a Service Business Plan for service bookings and sales; development of a staff of Service Technicians; who will deliver service around the world on a timely basis; manage, direct, and control Global Field Service activities. Your knowledge of reciprocating and centrifugal compressors will be a plus in this position. Your compensation will be commensurate with you experience and expertise. Relocation assistance is available for this position.
