The Global Business Development Manager will be based in Houston, TX and will be responsible for marketing a cutting-edge technology solution that addresses the exploration & production industry’s most challenging situations.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Primary focus of this role will be to develop and service demand with oil & gas companies for Product Technology systems and solutions through close collaboration with all company business units.
• Develop new customers for company’s Product Technology.
• Responsible for territory sales and market development.
• Responsible for developing relationships with Independent Oil and Gas companies, along with maximizing customer satisfaction.
• Proactive account management and revenue forecasting.
• Develop sales plan and strategies to strengthen customer relationships and insure market objectives are met.
• Schedule regular customer visits.
• Identify customer needs and present sales solutions.
• Develop sales presentations/material consistency within Business Units.
• Coordinate client’s activities with contractors who are favorable to company products and technologies.
• Coordinate activities within the company in order to develop the market for product systems sales.
• Provide competitor information to Business Development.
• Collect prioritized product and service requirements, communicating them to Business Units/Marketing Director.
• Secure Oil Company funding for joint technology development projects in concert with VP Technology.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Knows the Exploration & Production companies and has senior level relationships.
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
• Consultative selling experience.
• Extensive travel to meet sales objectives.
• Must be able to make complex decisions and customer commitments in real-time.
• Ability to build strong relationships with both oil company and contractor personnel to promote use of company technology.
• Understanding and comprehensive experience of Account Management.
• Ability to both develop and close opportunities.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelors Degree with 10+ plus years that includes a combination of technical/direct sales/consulting/marketing experience in geophysical upstream exploration & production.
• Exploration & Production experience a plus.
• Consultancy experience a plus.
• MBA a plus.
• International work experience a plus.
• Foreign Language a plus.
