Client in NW Maryland has an IMMEDIATE NEED for Electrical Engineers. This is a technical position that requires modification experience in the aviation industry. You will be working on general aviation aircraft, military aircraft, and will be responsible for design, development, and analysis activities of aircraft primary and secondary structures. Must have at least 5 years demonstrated ability to performing at a Senior Engineer level. Must have knowledge of FAR regulations and Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) process, and experience with coordinating certification efforts with FAA-Designated Engineering Representatives (DER).
Must have the ability to understand, plan, and execute technical activities in accordance with policies, procedures, and work instructions and specific customer quality, cost, and schedule requirements, and prepare material for and conduct periodic design reviews. With guidance form the Engineering Manager you will originate specifications, control documents, verification and validation, plans, procedures, reports, or other documentation in support of design and development activities.
A Bachelors Degree in Aeronautical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience focused on general aviation and military aircraft modifications required.
This is a contract position lasting 6 months or more.
