Great Opportunity!!
Large Power Company is located in Ontario, Canada, and is actively looking for an Estimator with experience in the manufacturing industry. Candidate MUST HAVE Bachelors degree in Engineering with 6-8 years of experience in detailing drawings to manufacture and fabricate miscellaneous equipment in steel fabrication shop. Candidate must also have sound knowledge of welding codes, drafting practices, equipment manufacturing design, and fabrication practices. Candidate will be responsible for providing leadership on project completion, provide technical expertise from start to finish on the manufacturing and design process, improve results in fabrication shop, and utilize software like AutoCAD, Excel, Word, and Outlook Express to complete projects. Candidate should have proven technical abilities in the custom fabrication hydropower generation station of equipment, specifically gates, hoists and press frames, gearboxes, and gears blanks. Candidate will also be responsible for estimating, drafting and coordinating all projects, preparing bids, quotes, and material lists on all components, and preparing all quotes to meet project deadlines. Company will pay for relocation. Salary listed is an approximation, so all eligible candidates are encouraged to apply.
