A manufacturer in Spartanburg SC is seeking an Electrical Engineer for its plant. This is a hands-on automation engineering position - design, specify, purchase and oversee installation of automation systems in the plant including PLCs, field measurement systems, and materials handling equipment. You should be able to develop projects, prepare estimates, schedules, and bid packages, and lead the installation and commissioning of the equipment as well. PLC programming skills are a must but this is not exclusively a PLC programming position! This requires at least a BS in Electrical Engineering, and 3 to 5 years hands-on experience in automation and measurement systems design, operations, and maintenance in an industrial setting. Excellent benefits are provided, and relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
