Petroleum Engineer - Operations/Completions/Heavy Oil

IMMEDIATE NEED for an Operations/Completions Engineer to work for a well established oil and gas company in Central, Colorado. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all completions activities and planning for operations in the Piceance Basin, including review of prior completions, evaluation of frac procedures for winter operations, evaluation of methods to reduce cycle time and evaluation of simultaneous drilling and completion activities. Candidate will also work with the permitting staff to support drilling activities, develop and maintain a rig schedule for the basin and prepare AFEs for wells. Qualified candidate will have 5 to 10+ years of Heavy Oil experience and at least a BS degree in petroleum, chemical or mechanical engineering. Experience in the Rockies and the Piceance Basin is a plus but is not necessary. Client offering attractive salary, bonus potential and benefit package to the right candidate.
