Procurement Specialist - Procurement/Specialist/Manufacturing 40-50 K/yr

Client located in Central New Jersey has an opening for a Procurement Specialist responsible to ensure purchased items or services are ordered from the selected supplier and delivered at the right time, right cost and in conformance with specifications. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager the primary responsibility for this position will be for following up the FTEs components / manufacturers & suppliers targeting delivery and following up payment as previously agreed and acknowledged by suppliers. You will also monitor suppliers delivery performance for assigned commodities or services, return defective unit(s) to supplier, implement /comply with supplier agreement/contract, maintain data integrity in the manufacturing systems, solve reception and invoice discrepancies, and prepare periodic reports as agreed with management. Local candidate or those willing to relocate on their own as there is no relocation for this position.
