A manufacturing company located in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Technical Engineering Manager to work in their plant. The successful candidate will have 7-10 years experience working as Technical/Plant Manager in the chemical industry. The candidate should have a B.S. in Engineering - Chemical Engineering preferred - and should be familiar with working with inorganic, organic, and metal compounds to produce products related to water treatment, fine chemicals, polymers, air treatment, industrial chemicals, etc. This person will have 6 direct reports and will be responsible for managing engineering, process controls, and capital management projects. This person will be responsible for managing costs related to capital management projects. Six Sigma Black Belt is a plus. Some travel may be required. Excellent benefits package is available.
