Excellent opportunity for recent Construction Management and/or Electrical Engineering Technology graduates. Immediate need for an Entry level Electrical Construction Project Manager/Engineer in the Southern Maine area. Ideal candidate will have no more than three years of project management experience. This person will support a senior level project engineering manager who works on up to 7- 10 projects at a time. Prior experience in the construction and maintenance of electric power substations would be a huge plus but is not necessary. Past experience with construction management, purchasing, engineering management would be ideal. Candidates will be responsible for assisting the senior project manager in the home office with his/her responsibilities which may include communicating with the customer's representatives and subcontractors, fttp site drawing and file maintenance, purchasing, estimating, monthly billings, project budgets and job costing, project closeout, and supporting field operations daily with construction and maintenance activities at the work sites. This is an Entry level position with room for advancement. Excellent computer skills are needed for this position and the ability to learn and use construction accounting/project management/scheduling software is important. Salary is commensurate with experience.
